We are the music makers,
and we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers
and sitting by desolate streams
Yet we are the movers and shakers
of the world forever, it seems.

THANKS FOR 2004
2004 TOURNAMENT FACTS
Thank you to everyone that participated in the 3rd ANNUAL BTB MAKO RODEO.
For the third consecutive year, the Brett T. Bailey foundation raised money for various local charities through fundraising efforts associated with this tournament.
The awards dinner was held Saturday night at Marlin’s Restaurant where General Glenn Reith and his wife Linda were on hand to accept a grant on behalf of National Guard State Family Readiness Council from the Brett T. Bailey Foundation.
The Foundation would like to thank Art Colabella of Hoffman’s Marina and Drew McKenna of Marlin’s Restaurant for their efforts, hospitality and support.
The winning Mako weighed in at 132lbs at Hoffman’s Marina and was boated by Tom and Phil Wickiewicz and their crew aboard the ‘Recovery Room.’
The crew of one of the winning boats was a group of NJ National Guardsmen from the 253rd Transportation Battalion out of Cape May who recently returned from Iraq and fished aboard the ‘Absolute Freedom’ with Captain Jeff Cunningham. They boated a 465lb Thresher shark and won first place in the Thresher Calcutta
This year over $17,000 was raised and will go to the State of New Jersey National Guard and Reservists, to financially assist those active individuals and families in need, who have decided to make the ultimate sacrifice, to serve in Iraq and Afghanistan, to preserve our way of life.
